RJT Nitrile Joint Ring

The nitrile joint ring is a standard sealing component used in RJT and other hygienic unions. It provides a reliable, compressible seal between the male part and pressed liner when tightened by the union nut.

Material Properties

Composition: Nitrile rubber (NBR)
Temperature range: Typically suitable for -30°C to +120°C
Chemical resistance: Good resistance to oils, greases, and mild chemicals
Hardness: Usually supplied in 70–75 Shore A

Hygienic Function

Forms a tight seal to prevent leakage and contamination
Compatible with clean-in-place (CIP) systems
Available in metal detectable variants for enhanced food safety compliance
