RJT Viton Joint Ring

The Viton joint ring is a premium sealing option for RJT and other hygienic unions, offering exceptional resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemicals. It is ideal for demanding process environments in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industries.


Material Properties

  • Composition: Fluoroelastomer (FKM), branded as Viton
  • Temperature range: Typically suitable for -20°C to +200°C
  • Chemical resistance: Excellent resistance to acids, solvents, oils, and high-temperature steam
  • Hardness: Usually supplied in 75 Shore A

Hygienic Function

  • Provides a durable, compressible seal under extreme conditions
  • Maintains integrity during thermal cycling and chemical exposure
  • Available in metal detectable variants for enhanced safety compliance
