RJT Metal Detectable EPDM Joint Ring

The metal detectable EPDM joint ring combines the hygienic performance of EPDM rubber with embedded metal particles for enhanced safety in food and pharmaceutical processing. Designed for use in RJT and other hygienic unions, it allows detection by inline metal detectors to help prevent contamination.

Material Properties

Composition: EPDM rubber with metal-detectable additives
Temperature range: Typically suitable for -40°C to +140°C
Chemical resistance: Excellent resistance to steam, alkalis, acids, and cleaning agents
Hardness: Usually supplied in 70–75 Shore A

Supports CIP (Clean-In-Place) and SIP (Steam-In-Place) systems
Enhances foreign body detection in critical hygiene zones
