RJT EPDM Joint Ring

The EPDM joint ring is a hygienic sealing component used in RJT and other union fittings, offering excellent resistance to heat, water-based solutions, and cleaning chemicals. It is a popular choice for CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems and steam-sterilized environments.

 

Material Properties

  • Composition: Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber
  • Temperature range: Typically suitable for -40°C to +140°C
  • Chemical resistance: Excellent resistance to steam, alkalis, acids, and oxidizing agents
  • Hardness: Usually supplied in 70–75 Shore A

  • Provides a reliable, compressible seal between RJT union components
  • Ideal for frequent washdown and sterilization cycles
  • Available in metal detectable variants for food and pharmaceutical safety compliance
