90° Product Strainer – High-Capacity Filtration for Hygienic Systems
Designed and manufactured in-house by Berkeley Stainless Fittings Limited, the 90° Product Strainer is engineered for finer filtration of product flow, helping to remove unwanted particles while maintaining low back pressure and minimal pressure drop.

  • Purpose: Ideal for finer filtration in hygienic processing lines
  • Body Design: Larger than pump protection strainers to reduce pressure loss
  • Material: Fabricated entirely from 316L stainless steel
  • Line Sizes: Available from 1″ OD to 6″ OD
  • Finish: Dull Polished O.D, Mill Finish I.D

Connection & Customisation

  • Inlet/Outlet Adaptation:
    • For 1″, 1.5″, and 2.5″ sizes, a concentric reducing cone is used on the standard body
  • End Connections:
    • RJT, IDF, Tri-Clamp, DIN, and SMS options available

Optional Add-ons:

  • Shut-off valves can be welded directly to the unit
  • Jacketed and Duplex strainers available to customer specifications

Assembly & Filtration Elements Each strainer assembly includes:

  • 1 × Filtration Element
  • 1 × Body
  • 1 × Single Hinged Clamp
  • 1 × Lipped EPDM Joint Ring

Filtration Elements

  • Choose between Perforated or Wedge Wire types
  • We recommend ordering a replacement element to ease cleaning and reduce downtime.
